Unique treasures, the placemats feature hand brocaded motifs down the center. Brocading means the embroidery is done while the placemat is being woven. This motif is "B'e" in Mam, which means path. Each placemat in a set has the same stripes and embroidery motif. The colors of the embroidery vary in each placemat.
