In the mountains of Cajola, the forests that protect the critical springs of water are disappearing. To restore the forests, the community, including the women of our weaving cooperative, participate in a yearly planting event. In 2025, Mayamam Weavers donated 2300 saplings which were planted in June. To read more about our efforts, check out our blog post.
